Day 1 of the Blenders Pride Magical Nights Music CDs presents Bangalore Times Fashion Week 2019 (BGTFW) was nothing short of a grand affair. Models sizzled on the runway in exclusive designer collections that were bold and beautiful. The Festive Winter Edit saw Bengaluru’s Ramesh Dembla do the opening show that began with a special dance performance, followed by a dramatic range of black ensembles, teased with bright splashes of gold and silver. Sandalwood diva Ragini Dwivedi won hearts as the showstopper for this collection. Also walking was Bollywood actor and model Abrar Zahoor. This was followed by Sohum Creations’ collection of dreamy gowns, the best of which were carried off by reality TV star Niveditha Gowda and socialite Roopamouli as showstoppers.

United Continents 2019 Shreya Shanker was the showstopper for Jivaana.com. Smoky shades aside, the evening also saw some pop colours, pastel hues and subtle jewellery that served inspiration for the city’s fashionistas this Deepavali in these two collections.

Bidapa showcased her Blenders Pride Shoreline Collection, which had the latest tremds in swimwear on display. This was followed by a theatrical finale where an exquisite Kashmir-themed collection by Rohit Bal ruled the last show of the evening.
Off the ramp, Bengaluru was not shy to put its best fashion foot forward, as we spotted loads of glitz and glam on the red carpet and on the sidelines. Actor Abishek Ambareesh appeared on the front row, while Nidhi Subbaiah and Chandu B Gowda were also present for a dose of style.
