Bonobo to perform in Bengaluru as part of his Fragments world tour

British music producer and performer Bonobo aka Simon Green will perform in Bengaluru this weekend. He will be performing at Phoenix Marketcity as part of his Fragments world tour.

A multi-talented artist who has experimented with a variety of upbeat music techniques, Bonobo plays the keys and guitars, the bass, and has programmed and mixed the drums.

One of the biggest names in dance music, his career includes three Grammy nominations. Besides, he has collaborated with notable artists like Erykah Badu, Ólafur Arnalds and JonHopkins, and remixed artists including Michael Kiwanuka, Gorillaz, George Fitzgerald and London Grammar.

He debuted with a trip hop aesthetic, and has since explored more upbeat approaches as well as jazz and world music influences. His electronic sound incorporates the use of organic instrumentation, and is recreated by a full band in live performances.

Touted to be the most emotionally intense record that Bonobo has created, Fragments features artists Jamila Woods, Joji, Kadhja Bonet, Jordan Rakei, O’Flynn and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson.
