The total lunar eclipse charmed city's astronomers, stargazers alike as many tried to catch a glimpse of this rare occurrence on Friday night. Not just them, excited about sighting this rare occurrence, Bengalureans shunned sleep and geared up to watch the
eclipse with telescopes and other gears. However, because of the cloudy weather, many were left disappointed as they could not view the complete eclipse. Luckily, people spotted the blood-red moon in Mysuru. According to
NASA, the total eclipse lasted for 1 hour, 42 minutes and 57 seconds.
The fullest eclipse was visible from Europe, Russia, Africa, the Middle East, and much of Asia and Australia though clouds blocked out the moon in some places.
