O ne event on Bengaluru’s social calendar that the city’s swish set will not miss, come what may, is the annual Times Food and Nightlife Awards. And on Tuesday night, popular film and TV stars, fashionistas, top cops and corporate bigwigs came dressed to the nines for what is arguably the Food Oscars of Bengaluru.
They cheered loudly for the winners across 51 categories, after host for the evening
Anuj Gurwara welcomed them, and food critic Priya Bala spoke at length about the changing culinary scene of the city — including the clampdowns on some hot spots and Bengaluru’s increasing affinity for ordering in than dining out.

The Times Food and Nightlife Awards, Bengaluru, 2020 was presented in association with celebration partner Blenders Pride Reserve Collection Music CDs, Kingfisher packaged drinking water and dining out partner, Dineout.
