Love gardening and don't know where and how to begin? Does the idea of owning a mini herb or flower garden at your apartment intrigue you? Bengalureans can learn the basics of gardening at a 'live online session' hosted by Nature First on Friday (July 31). The two-hour long workshop starting at 2.30 pm would include a lecture, presentation, live demonstration followed by a Q&A round.

Attendees can learn how to develop beautiful home garden by growing ornamental plants at your front yard, terrace, balcony, and windows and how to successfully grow flowering plants like Roses, Jasmines, Bougainvillea, Marigold, Hibiscus and many more of such flowers. Topics covered also include growing indoor foliage plants and shade loving flowering plants in your apartments, a highlight on Anthuriums, Adenium, and other air purifying plants, seed sowing, stem cuttings, bulbs-rhizomes and splitting. One would also learn potting and re-potting, ideal potting mixtures, manuring, mulching, pruning, natural pest remedies, seed sowing, gardening tips and hacks.
