Artistes and filmmakers unite to support specially-abled individuals

Film Industry for Rights and Equality

(FIRE) recently organised a special event in the city, called

Anikethana

, in an effort to empower Karnataka’s specially-abled youth.
The programme was conducted in association with

Abhivruddhi Foundation

. As part of the initiative, financial help was provided to four specially-abled individuals from a military family, an economically-backward family, and a flood-affected family.
FIRE members who graced the occasion were Kavitha Lankesh, Chetan, Jayalakshmi Patil, SD Aravinda, Panchami, Naina Puttaswamy, as well as KFI workers from several departments.
