A racy afternoon

It was an exhilarating Sunday brunch, hosted by Lalit Sanghvi.
It had lots of glitz, glamour, speed and adventure. Watching the penultimate Formula One race from the seats were Harinder Singh, Jean Saldanha, Abhay Kewadkar, MC George and Nirmal Mandoth, among many others.
Though everyone was glued to the big screen, we spotted Amrita Gokhani and Sarita Mandoth busy in long conversation, later joined by Aarti Sud.The chitchat continued till the very end. They obviously had lot to catch up on. Among others who enjoyed the afternoon was actress Sanjana, accompanied by her sister.
Reema, Pavithra Halkatti, BNS Reddy, Pavana, Pooja and Vishal were there too. Everyone was cheering for their fave team and drivers, the most popular being Fernando Alonso, Felipe Massa and Lewis Hamilton. The excitement heightened when Hamilton finished and moved a step closer to winning the 2008 championship. There were goodies given away to people who answered to some quick questions related to F1.
Those who could not make it in time for the race (Rubi Chakravarti and Chandini among them) were not disappointed either. They still had a good time with cocktails and a lavish buffet spread of Indian and Continental cuisine.
