A Power-packed Bangalore do

The launch of People Power, the coffee table book to mark 25 years of The Times of India in Bangalore, was one power-packed affair.
To begin with, there was CM BS Yeddyurappa who graced the occasion. After launching the book, he gave away copies of it to the power-listers who were present. Golden Star Ganesh was among the first to arrive, with wife Shilpa. The couple was celebrating their second wedding anniversary and received double congrats on the evening.Anil Kumble and Chethana were also present and stayed back to chat with fans and sample the dinner. NR Narayan Murthy was away in Paris so wife Sudha and son Rohan came in his stead. Prasad Bidapa, Arundhati Nag and VG Siddharta were present as well. Sudeep, flush with the success of Just Maath Maathali put in an appearance. After the formalities, interspersed with two dance performances, it was time for cocktails and catching up. Truly impressive an evening, is what everyone said.
