A concert to remember!
It was the night of the Piper and the Princess coming together for the very first time right here in Bangalore.
The concert by Jethro Tull and Anoushka Shankar, as part of the Seagram���s 100 Pipers Pure Music Show, had the audience enthralled. Sitar player, Anoushka Shankar took the stage first, with a half hour of her music, followed by one hour of classics by the British folk rock band, Jethro Tull.

Ian Anderson was brilliant as usual, switching between his flute and his guitar with incredible ease, bursting with life and energy. The audience loved every bit, from Anoushka���s classical melodies to Jethro Tull���s bluesy, Celtic rock.
That wasn���t all that Seagram���s 100 Pipers had in store for Bangalore city. Jethro Tull and Anoushka Shankar came together for some incredible fusion. The music was written by Ian Anderson especially for the tour. Anoushka was remarkable, exceeding everybody���s expectations, proving that she really is worthy of carrying her father���s mantle.
The pre-concert party the previous night was a hit too, with Ian Anderson signing autographs and meeting his fans. Some of the city���s biggest names were there, enjoying an evening of music by Jethro Tull, which certainly left them in high spirits!
Seagram���s 100 Pipers organised a concert that Bangalore and its music fans will remember for a long, long time.
