Young students participate in an astronomical drawing competition

With various astronomical events happening in the city, APJ Abdul Kalam Astrospace Science Centre in Aurangabad in their event '100 Hours of Astronomy' organised various events related to astronomy. One of the events was that for the school students in Aurangabad. The centre organised a drawing competition that was open for all the students of various schools. Students of various schools took part in drawing competition organised as part of their 5 days event. The topic, quite evidently was centred around astronomy named ‘Future colony on the moon’. The participants’ colouring on the white drawing papers with their chirpy enthusiasm was a sight to behold. The centre’s 100 hours of astronomy initiative was being observed to mark the centenary of International Astronomical Union. The event aimed at spreading knowledge of astronomy in the young minds.
