Women take part in Sindoor Khela as they bid adieu to Ma Durga

After days of celebration of Durga Puja, was time to bid adieu to Goddess Durga, as women on Tuesday celebrated

on the occassion of Vijay Dashmi at various pandals in Aurangabad. Dressed in traditional white and red sarees, women applied

sindoor

on the forehead and feet of the goddess and offered sweets to her which was followed by smearing sindoor on each other’s face.
