When Odissi and Kathak dancers set the stage ablaze

Much to city’s cultural delight, city-based Mahagami Gurukul organised Aura Aurangabad –a cultural tourism initiative for the dance aficionados. The event that aimed at paying tribute to the local heritage saw two performances at their second concert recently.
The second concert of Season 7 of the event saw dancer Aditi Mitra from Mumbai presenting an Odissi performance wherein she showcased Megh Pallavi, Ashtapadi and Durga Stuti dance compositions.The Odissi recital was followed by Kathak presented by Krupa Tendulkar. She put forth Shiv Vandana, Taal - Raas and Vanshi Leela compostitions to which everyone were delighted.
