Students spread message through poster competition
To mark Mahatma Gandhi's 150 th birth anniversary, a
poster competition
was organised in the city recently. Organised byGarware Community Center
ofAurangabad
, the event had around 100 youngsters participating for the competition. We have seen small children keen in participating for such painting competitions; however, this time the competition was between age groups 17 to 25 and above 25 years of age and their enthusiasm knew no bound. The topic of the poster competition was cleanliness as Mahatma Gandhi was a keen observer of cleanliness. The participants drew posters that had myriad of topics likenon-violence
, cleanliness, swadeshi movement, dandi march, rural development and many such topics.end of article
