Students of Aurangabad learn about their rights at this event
As a part of Child Rights Week’s, Aurangabad police conducted awareness session for the students of 37 schools and colleges along with students of hostels.
Under the tutelage of police officer Chiranjeev Prasad and with help of Department of School Education & Literacy and
Women and Child Welfare department
, students were made aware of their basic rights. They were enlightened on topics like child labour,child marriage
, adolescent criminals, sexual harassment on children etc. With that, they were informed about various schemes and emergency contacts that they can refer to in various emergency situations. They also taught them how to deal with such situation. In all, the informative session proved fruitful for the young students of the city.end of article
