Shivnaam week celebrated amidst plethora of events

Devotees of Lord Shiva dived into devotion Shivanaam week at Jijamata Colony at

Jaybhavani Nagar

that was recently organised. The week-long event had plethora of events lined namely Shiv

kirtan

, Grantharaj Parayan, Shivsant Shree Laxman Maharaj gatha bhajan etc. Religious books were read and devotional songs were sung by bhajan mandalis at the event. The complete religious affair also saw sangeet bharud that had description of Lord Shiva. Renowned personalities like Shakuntala Chakote, Bhujanappa Palaskar, Ratan Swami, Ashok Karegaonkar etc were present to grace the occasion. To add beauty to the celebration, the area was decorated with

saffron

flags. A shobayatra and granth dindi was also organised at the week-long event. Mahaprasad distribution was also done during the session. In all, the devotees dedicated their week to this gathering and enjoyed to the fullest.
