Kathak trio impresses the audience with their dance

's sixth season Aura Aurangabad 12 th concert saw a double dose of

Kathak

performance. After a scintillating Kathak performance by Partha Mandal, it was time for Mahagami's group to present dance for the evening. Mahagami's ensemble presented a Kathak recital that was no got the most applauds. The group of young girls Sheetal Bhamre, Shreeya Dikshit and Rasika Talekar presented Kathak which commenced with Shiva Stuti. The trio then put the stage ablaze as they danced to the tunes of Kirvani

, a musical composed by Pt. Birju Maharaj. The next presentation was Varna Riti - an imaginative composition on the tradition of 'bol padhant'. Composed by Guru Parwati Dutta, the audience of Aurangabad were left mesmerised which aimed to bring forth the rich culture of the city through their Culture Tourism initiative.
