dance performance by Dr. Biswajit Dash. The event that took place in Mahagami saw Odissi dancer Dr.Biswajit Dash's cultural dance recital. It commenced with Pallavi which is a dance item from

Puri

, also called as Nritta and was based on Shringara Rasa. The second segment of the performance was Abhinaya (acting). The dance recital was an abhinaya which depicted about Mother Yashoda and little Krishna and got the utmost appreciation from all. The audience was spellbound as his expressions matched the Raga Bhairavi. Every beat was performed to perfection and all this was choreographed by Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra.
