Adding feather to Aurangabad's cultural scenario, Devmudraa – a movement school, a cultural group in the city presented Samskriti – a festival of classical dance festival before all. Celebrating their ninth year, the two-day dance festival started the first day's evening with a Bharatanatyam repertoire by city-based classical dancer Ketki Nevpurkar who put forth Ganesh Kirtanam, Thillana and Bhajan with two of her disciples Manasi and Riddi.
As the mood of the welcoming dance echoed in the auditorium, the performance was followed by Vithal Tukayacha Nritya Sangeetika –a presentation based on the life and philosophy of Sant Tukaram. Dressed in beautiful costumes, the enthralling performance was put forth by artiste V Soumyasri and Devmudraa group along with twelve other dancers.
