Bharatanatyam performed on various ragas at Mahagami

Under the Aura Aurangabad's Culture Tourism, Mahagami organised a classical dance concert in

Aurangabad

recently. Under the on-going cultural concert, this was the seventh dance concert wherein ace dancers presented Indian classical dances.

Bharatanatyam

dancer Anjana Sudheendra presented her recital. Her performance started with Naada Tanumanisham and went on to Jayadeva

Ashtapadi

that was performed on ragas Vaasanti and Mishra Chapu talam. The last segment of the recital was Tillana, a fast rhythmic movement of Nritha with two lines of lyrics on Ambe (Parvati ). This was perfomed on ragas AmrithaVarshini and Aadi Talam.
