Aurangabad police officers set example by planting trees

The city of gates has taken the

climate change

seriously and not just localities, but even the

police

department of Aurangabad have taken up tree

plantation drive

. Under the initiative ‘Jhade lava, jhaade jagwa’ which means plant trees and save trees, police officers of Aurangabad planted around 280 saplings in the new police station area. After the construction of new police station, the forest department urged the police department to plant trees anew. Senior officers urged everyone in the department to come forward and plant saplings which will later grow into trees. The officers were seen clearing the ground and planting saplings and watering them. Previously too, the team showed interest in tree plantation in their premises. This helped others take up plantation drives across various places in the city.
