Artistes take to streets to urge people to vote

Elections 2019 are before us, the urge to

vote

has been consistent. Similarly, the District office in Aurangabad has been spreading out diverse methods to urge people to vote. To make it an interesting feat, they have appointed six street play groups from the city who have been visiting various villages around Aurangabad to apprise people about their right to vote.

City based groups –Shree Khanderay Kala Mandal, Aabha Kala Manch, Lok Jagruti Bahudeshiya Snaskrutik Kala Sevabhavi, Shiv Darshan Sanskrutik Shahiri Manch, Lokranjan Lokkala Pratishthan and Janseva Kala Pathak Pratisthan have reached out to local villages where they presented street plays. Through songs, poems, storytelling etc. they have been putting forth the importance of
