Art lovers meet on a rainy night

Peeti Raja came to town all the way from the UK, and Naozar and Silloo Daruwalla threw a party for all the city’s art lovers to meet her.
Despite the rain, and inspite of being a mid-week bash, there were lots of people who came to meet her, chat and sip a glass of wine or two.
Among them were Manjusha and Vikram, Baldev Bhatia, Nina Mohan, Deepa and Nirad Muthanna and Gopal and Debika Rao, Alok Chandra, Anant Iyer, Sunil and Kiran Chainani.Gurudas Shenoy, there with wife Amita, was seen closely looking at the artwork, and Amrita Gokani and Leena Singh sported their usual hi-glam look — Leena was off to Delhi the next day, she said.
Anna and Rishad Minocher and Jimmy and Shaheen Amrolia was seen catching up. The enjoyable evening continued, irrespective of the pouring rain outside. Gotta cheer the happy Bangalore social spirit!
