Anupama Prakash’s Kaccha Lemmon Productions unveils Band Baaja Aafat
Mumbai-based creative powerhouse Anupama Prakash, along with her business partner Tushar Mehta, has launched Kaccha Lemmon Productions, a banner committed to delivering rooted, high-impact Indian stories that blend cultural authenticity with mass appeal.
The production house’s debut web series, Band Baaja Aafat, directed by Abhishek J. Sanghavi, has been released. It is a vibrant drama set in a Mumbai chawl, weaving humor, warmth, and everyday struggles into an engaging narrative. With its relatable characters and witty storytelling, the series offers a heartfelt yet entertaining portrayal of chawl life.
On the cinematic front, Anupama is making her Tollywood debut with Mr. Reddy, a film exploring themes of family, loyalty, and ambition. This movie marks her emergence as a truly versatile pan-Indian talent.
She also has three additional Telugu projects currently in production. Kaccha Lemmon’s What’s Up? promises a refreshing mix of humor, emotion, and relatable relationships. The movie is presently in post-production and is slated for release soon.
Adding a devotional note to their slate, the production house is set to release Gajanan Aao Phir Ek Baar, a soulful Ganpati song featuring Anupama Prakash, Shrutika Gaokar, and Ankita Khare. With powerful vocals by Ritu Pathak and energetic choreography by Ajit Gade, the track blends festive vibrancy with deep spiritual emotion. It will be released on 23rd August 2025, perfectly timed for Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
Another much-anticipated project for Anupama is the web series Shart – A Weird Bet, an intriguing tale of relationships, mind games, and unexpected twists. This will add another feather to Kaccha Lemmon’s creative cap.
Recognised for her captivating screen presence and versatile performances across films, web series, and brand campaigns, Anupama Prakash was recently honored with the “Iconic Popular Star of the Year” award at the Universal Eminence Awards 2025.
