Akhandakeshari Sarbojanin Durgotsab Committee unveils Puja 2025 theme - Shakti

With Durga Puja just weeks away, the Akhandakeshari Sarbojanin Durgotsab Committee has unveiled its theme for 2025 — “Shakti” — along with a theme song. The launch marked the official countdown to the committee’s 67th year of celebrations.
This year’s theme reflects Maa Durga’s divine power as a guiding light in today’s digital Age. While technology has transformed lives, the concept highlights its adverse impact — from addiction and anxiety to fractured family bonds. Through “Shakti”, the committee urges society to embrace technology wisely while staying rooted in relationships, nature, and inner peace.
The evening saw the presence of actress Srabanti and other dignitaries. "Shakti calls for mindful use of technology, while the anthem is the heartbeat of our celebrations," said the actress.
With “Shakti”, the committee has set the stage for a Durga Puja that promises to be both culturally resonant and socially relevant.
