A night for some awards!

It was a proud night indeed for Dr Mukesh Batra and Dr Akshay Batra, the latter of whom was conferred upon with an honour.
And the venue itself was a disco inferno of sorts with the DJ burning it up with some great disco classics from the 70s and 80s. And authentic disco hits at that ��� no remixed stuff! Parvez Damania made a flamboyant entry and was immediately greeted by Dr Batra, the two being old friends.Barry Stevens, the Batras��� special guest, was introduced to everyone.
Nisha Jamvwal was overheard saying how the music took her back to her college days. Rahul Nanda went bear-hugging everyone and his wife kept him demure company. Vinod Khanna and wife Kavita made a late entry, wished Akshay on his success and left soon after. Shekhar Suman sure likes to stand out from the rest and he did here too, sporting a bright blue tie, as he entered along with wife Alka. Anil Dharker chose to lounge in a corner while Kripashankar Singh���s entry sent the shutterbugs in a tizzy. Also spotted were Anu Malik, Kamal Sadanah and Rouble Nagi. Guests then tucked into the buffet laid out, the mutton raan-e-sikandari being the perfect accompaniment to the guest���s appetite. All in all a splendid time was had by all.
