A monsoon fair wrapped in British flair and Kolkata’s creative spirit

The British Deputy High Commission in Kolkata buzzed with colour and conversation on Saturday as they hosted the second edition of Monsoon Charity Fair. NGOs and CSR groups showcased stalls blending art with advocacy, each supporting a unique cause. Visitors explored everything from handmade crafts to sustainable products. Crafts, causes, and monsoon charm
From leafy potted plants to chic handmade bags, the Monsoon Charity Fair was a treasure trove of all things artsy. Stalls brimmed with Pinterest-worthy postcards, quirky fridge magnets and coasters, delicate pearl bracelets, and crochet keyrings that looked straight out of a craft reel. Handmade candles and soaps added to the charm, making the fair feel like a cosy, creative escape where every corner had something to surprise and delight. Each product told a story of craftsmanship and community, offering visitors a chance to support livelihoods while taking home something unique.
