Zayn Malik talks about daughter Khai and his ex, Gigi Hadid

After tasting superstardom with One Direction, Zayn quit the popular boy band and went solo in 2015 due to the intense touring schedule, which he claimed burnt him out. He began a successful solo career after that, which won him several awards with his music chart toppers in the US and the UK.
Now, right before the release of his new album, Zayn Malik has come out of the shadows in an attempt to reveal his true identity.He was recently with Alex Cooper from the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast and spoke at length about various issues that were on his mind for the past several years. He also revealed that it was earlier very difficult for him to have these kinds of candid conversations.
Zayn had been through a tumultuous relationship with his supermodel girlfriend Gigi Hadid, until mid-2021, but the relationship ended by October 2021 with accusations of abuse from Gigi's mother, Yolanda, who accused him of striking her. The case eventually went to court where it was ordered that he would spend 360 days in probation.
Now, in a recent podcast interview with Alex Cooper, Zayn Malik discussed his new role as a father and his endearing relationship with his little daughter, Khai Hadid Malik, which is now doing the rounds on social media. Zayn said affectionately about his daughter to the host, "Since I've had my daughter, the main thing in my mind is trying to be a good example to her. That's why I'm even doing this interview, you know?" He also revealed that he is now accustomed to telling ‘dad jokes’ and is sure that his daughter would be proud of him for opening up.
Both Zayn and Gigi are still co-parenting their daughter who will turn three, this September. Zayn was reportedly dating popular singer Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid appears to be in a romantic relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio.
