Women should be compassionate towards each other: Paltrow

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow says women should support each other instead of harbouring meanness for one another.

Paltrow, 42 in an interview to Harper's Bazaar UK, said she does not understand why a few women act as sadists with each other, reported People magazine. "Women really need to examine why they're so vitriolic to other women. Why they want to twist words, why they want to read about someone else in a negative light and why that feels good to them," she said.Paltrow, however, added that there were many girls who are giving and loving towards other and she finds it transformative. "But I also know a huge tribe of women who are loving and supportive of other women, in ways that are completely transformative," she said.
