There has been a constant rumor among Swifty fans that the pop sensation secretly portrayed a bear in Happy Gilmore 2.During her August 13 appearance on New Heights, the podcast hosted by her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce, the 35-year-old superstar herself discussed and clarified the rumors.

The Happy Gilmore 2 rumors were proven false by Taylor Swift

Jason Kelce questioned her about the circulating rumor, asking her to "confirm or deny" the rumor. Swift said, "I can deny!" in response to this right away. The theory has now become a running joke between her and Travis, she disclosed. "This is one of those ones where, like, we'll send it to each other and be like, 'Hey, did you hear I was the bear in there?'" Swift said, revealing their private jokes. "Yeah, did you hear we bought a house in Lake Como?" he asks. "At this point, we’re just like, of course they think I’m inside of a bear costume."The Daylight hitmaker also agreed that because she loved the Adam Sandler film, she found the rumor flattering even though it was totally false.
She mentioned that she had seen the film several times because she loved it so much. She laughed and added that she had thought the bear acting was beautiful.

Shortly after its release, she shared the official Happy Gilmore 2 poster on Instagram, writing, “Happy Gilmore 2 had me cackling and cheering the whole movie. An absolute must-watch. 13/10, go watch it on Netflix as soon as humanly possible."
