The world looks to him as a leader in the dubstep genre, but Skrillex aka Sonny Moore, is constantly innovating his sound with the sincerity of a student.
His latest album Recess has 11 tracks that experiment with dubstep, brostep and dance music for the next generation. The record opens with All Is Fair In Love and Brostep, featuring Ragga Twins, that takes a jibe at producer Zomboy, who used elements from its demo for his own single Terror Squad by sampling it.

Alvin Risk is responsible for the sonic landscape of Try It Out while the title track has the drum ’n bass knack of Kill The Noise. Garage music makes an appearance with Stranger featuring upcoming rapper KillaGraham and Fire Away is more percussion and lyrical rock than dubstep.
Dirty Vibe has Diplo doing Southern hip-hop and Korean singers G-Dragon and CL going hyperactive. Electro sounds pulsate through Ease My Mind while the funky Coast Is Clear has Chance the Rapper articulating over piano plucks and handclaps. This album has such a large number of collaborators — singers, rappers, producers and musicians — that the final effect is jumbled. It is perhaps his attempt to introduce Skrillex loyalists to divergent sounds.
