In recent weeks, the intruder visited her house uninvited and tried to break in.

Mentioning an alarming incident in her court documents that happened on May 23, Carpenter reported that he was at her front door after coming through the neighbour’s house, rang the bell, and refused to move away from the residence until the police authorities arrived. “[He] fabricated the outrageous and entirely false claim that he personally knew me and that I was expecting him. This was a complete lie,” the ‘Sugar Talking’ singer penned. In less than 24 hours, he visited her house again and loitered outside. The next day, he parked in front of her house.

Carpenter submitted the surveillance footage from her doorbell camera and asked for protection for her and two close ones who live with her: her sister and her sister’s boyfriend. The judge has granted a temporary restraining order, directing the man to be 100 meters away from Sabrina, her house, her car, and her workplace, including the other residents.


The next court hearing will be on June 17, 2026, as the man is due in the criminal court after he was arrested for trespassing.
