Describe the recording process for this album
We started to write new songs and took old songs, changed the lyrics, changed the choruses.
1x1 polls
We recorded it in my home studio in Germany. Drums were recorded in Stockholm and the mixing was also done there in Polar Studios.
What kind of sound were you looking for?
We were looking for a sound that was also the sound of the 80s. We had a lot of stuff from the late 70s and early 80s. We wanted to connect the 80s today and connect it with the sound of today. We had a great man who helped us with some fantastic amplifiers. I do not however miss the sound of the 80s.

How big is classic rock today?
Classic rock is bigger than ever! We have millions and millions of fans on social media between 16 and 28. Rock and roll is not dying. Rock and roll gets new people, young people. Time is going forward and you have to include anything new.

What is the essence of rock?
Attitude man, attitude! Rock n roll is energy. Power vocals. I was inspired by the Rolling Stones, the Pretty Things and the Beatles. The philosophy of 4-5 friends travelling around the world and playing music… I was looking for good musicians – no question about that but was also looking for people I could be friends with. This philosophy went like a red line throughout the years. Our new single is exactly the story of the Scorpions.
