Asperger Syndrome falls under the Autism spectrum disorder and is a condition that affects someone's social skills.



The 44-year-old said, "There's something missing in me, I have big blind spots. Maybe Asperger's or autism. I don't know what spectrum I'm on something.The singer also opened up about living with mental illness, revealing. It's quite hard work being in my head - I have an interesting compulsion, addiction, mental illness."




Williams has previously spoken publicly about battling depression and anxiety, as well as being open with his struggles with drug and alcohol abuse.

Crediting his wife Ayda Field and their two children for helping him manage his mental health, the singer said, "Day-to-day, things change. I do the same things as the day before, but today's a different day and I don't know why it's difficult to get out of bed. It's just who I am."

Williams has become the second high-profile person within a day to discuss Asperger Syndrome.
