It was not just Priyanka Chopra attending the Grammys 2002 with her singer beau Nick Jonas, but Oscar and Grammy winning musician AR Rahman was also a part of the award ceremony. The singer shared glimpses from Los Angeles' Staples Center where the 62nd edition of music's biggest awards were hosted on Sunday night. Grammys paid a tribute to NBA legend Kobe Bryant, who died in a helicopter crash hours before the awards, and AR Rahman shared a glimpse of the tribute from the ceremony.

Back in 2010, AR Rahman had bagged two Grammy Awards for Best Compilation Soundtrack for a Motion Picture for ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ and Best Motion Picture Song for ‘Jai Ho’ from the same film.
