, who has been diagnosed with cancer is on the path to recovery.
The 41-year-old Canadian musician and wife

, who had announced last November that Noah was undergoing treatment for the disease in the US, confirmed about this development.
"We are so grateful to report that our son Noah has been progressing well during his treatment and the doctors are very optimistic about the future for our little boy," the couple said in a statement.
They added that their son has been brave and they are 'inspired by his courage'.
They also thanked the family, friends and fans for their prayers, support and love through this trying time.
The couple married in 2011 and also have a one-year-old son, Elias.
