‘Love and War’ rapper Lil Poppa passes away at 25

Lil Poppa, best known for his songs ‘Pledge’, ‘No Debate’, and ‘Love and War’, has passed away at the age of 25. Though a report has confirmed the news of his demise, no official statement has been made by the rapper’s representatives or family members.

Lil Poppa, who was born as Janarious Mykel Wheeler, has passed away at 25, as reported by TMZ. Earlier, there were claims online about his passing, but no confirmed information. Hours later, the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the news, as stated by the aforementioned portal.




They shared that the rapper was pronounced deceased earlier today at 11:23 ET. No official cause of death has been shared with the public; however, as per various claims made online, he allegedly passed away because of an accidental overdose.

Only days before his passing, the rapper released a brand new song on February 13, titled ‘Out Of Town Bae.’ He was also supposed to perform in New Orleans next month.

He was signed under fellow rapper Yo Gotti’s management agency and had released a lot of hit songs. He was born on March 18, 2000, in Jacksonville, Florida.
