Lil Nas X released from jail; issues first statement after the incident: ‘That was f****** terrifying…’

Rapper Lil Nas X has just shared his first statement after being arrested while naked in public. Last week, the star was arrested off the streets when he was found nude in public, and was released later after pleading not guilty. Now, the rapper has officially shared his first statement through a social media post about the situation, calling it “terrifying”.

Lil Nas X shares first statement after arrest last week

The famed rapper took to his social media account on August 26 to talk about the incident that occurred last week. In a story posted on his account, the musician shared that, “Your girl is gonna be ok, ya’ll. She’s going to be alright. Shit, that was fucking terrifying. That was terrifying. That was a terrifying last four days, but your girl is going to be alright”.

The ‘INDUSTRY BABY’ singer was caught on video walking on the streets of Ventura Boulevard in Studio City, in only a pair of boots and underwear. At the time, the police officials had suspected that it was a case of drug overdose, and had taken him in for questioning and later to the hospital as well. He was charged with four felony counts at the time, and stayed in prison over the weekend, after officially being released from custody on Monday.

His bail was set at 75,000 USD, and his legal team had cited that the rapper had not been apprehended over anything in the past, and had no history of violence and drug abuse as well.

Before this, he had been focusing on building a personality online and becoming an influencer, which he did not fully succeed in, until 2017, when he was running a Nicki Minaj fan account.

Following his virality on social media, the rapper started writing and recording his own songs. He even released a mixtape on a free streaming platform; however, it did not get him any success and was later completely removed from the platform as well.
