According to the latest reports from Page Six it has come to light that the 31-year-old artist, who was allegedly under the influence of drugs when he fell, had overdosed a few years ago. Multiple sources have said that the singer overdosed and had to be revived at least once even when he used to look well from the outside.

Reports also suggest that the singer’s colleagues and friends have shown concerns about the fact that his manager brought him on board the reality show ‘Building the Band shortly’ right after he returned from rehab. According to them, he was not ready for the show and was pushed into isolation when he needed his people around for help and support.

A source insisted that a lot of concerned looks were exchanged between people behind the show. It added about “a lot of worried” text chains between the officials over how Payne’s “manager pushed him to do the show.” The source further pushed, “There was no way he was in any shape to do this.”

“Liam had, in the last few months, become very isolated by a new group of people away from [those] who cared for him and who’d been trying to help him for a long time,” the source continued.

Further, on the one hand, where Liam’s addiction was consuming him and battle was turning harder and harder, on the other hand, he was facing major setbacks on the professional front. There was nothing that was helping him recover.

Though the late artist worked in the reality show, the InTouch Weekly report suggested that the creatives didn’t have enough footage of Liam to be featured in the show. It remains unclear if the late singer will be featured in the show posthumously.
