Australian singer Kylie Minogue has dropped a post on her Instagram as fans compared her 2005 tour with Taylor Swift's upcoming album, 'The Life of a Showgirl'. And not just the fans, but her friends also sent her memes about the same. In the post, she reminisced about the good old days and gave a shoutout to all her fellow showgirls.

The American songstress recently announced her new album, and soon fans started to connect it with Kylie's 'Showgirl: The Greatest Hits Tour.' At that time, Kylie performed her various hits in her shimmery showgirl ensembles. Sharing the images from her concerts, the songwriter captioned, "When all your friends start sending you your Showgirl mems!!! Awww. Showgirl life is ‘a thing,’ multidimensional, and so much more than feathers and dazzle. (Heart emoji), respect and admiration to all my fellow hardworking showgirls. (Kiss emoji)"

For the unversed, Kylie's tour was cancelled midway after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Later, she returned to the stage in the year 2006, after doctors gave her a clean bill of health from cancer.

About Taylor Switf's 'Life of a Showgirl'

Taylor Swift announced the album during her appearance on her beau Travis Kelce and his brother's New Heights Podcast. She expressed that the album and the songs would reflect what she went through behind the scenes of her Eras Tour.

On the podcast, she said, "What was going on behind the scenes in my inner life during this tour, which was so exuberant and electric and vibrant. It just comes from, like, the most infectiously joyful, wild, dramatic place I was in in my life."

Taylor Swift also revealed that the upcoming album will not feature any extra tracks like her previous one, 'The Tortured Poets Department.'

Taylor recently dropped a new album cover donning a rhinestone top, bejewelled bottoms and fringed armbands. The album will be available on October 3, 2025.
