Singer and rapper
Kanye West has just released his very own documentary titled ‘In Whose Name??’, where the star is seen getting candid about his life. The documentary is meant to provide the fans and the public with a closer look at the happenings in his life. Covering events to fights, the documentary has brought forth a lot of new information about the singer to light. One such clip from the documentary is going viral. The singer can be seen screaming at his then mother-in-law,
Kris Jenner, over getting medications.
Kanye West’s altercation with former MIL Kris Jenner
In one of the clips that have gone viral from the documentary, Kanye West and Kris Jenner can be seen in a room arguing about him getting medication. In the video, the rapper can be heard saying that he’d “Rather be dead” than take some medication. The conversation seems to be revolving around West’s mental health and hospitalization.
He continued with his argument, saying, “Y’all demasculated me and made me feel like a piece of s***, and the only reason you got away with it is because I was medicated.” He also mentioned how no one has come forward to take responsibility for the fact that he had to go to the hospital; however, people online had their opinions about him.
The Grammy winner then burst out after Jenner stated, “It doesn’t matter”. The TV personality, however, added more clarification to her disagreement, saying, “It matters to us and you. It doesn’t matter what the internet says. It matters what we think, Ye.”
Kris Jenner tells Kanye West that she loves him
The singer leaves the room, and later comes back asking Jenner about whether her actions had any kind of effect on his mental health, to which Jenner agrees. She says, Yes. Yes. Yes. I’m saying yes. And I love you. I love you. I don’t want you to be perfect. I love you. I want my daughter [Kim Kardashian] to love you the way you want her to love you.”
The documentary covers a wide array of events from West’s life over the years. From exclusive interviews, one specifically with
Elon Musk, to addressing controversies, it has it all. The film also shows backstage footage about the controversial moment when West grabbed the microphone from singer
Taylor Swift’s hands.
