Life has taken an unexpected turn in LA, the wildfire has caused more damage than one could have imagined. People were forced to evacuate immediately as the state declared an emergency. LA has been home to several celebrities for decades, the wildfire made them flee from their abodes and made them see their estate reduced to ashes, yet the silver lining is that most of them escaped unharmed. The properties were broken down to ruins but lives were safe. In this state of chaos and mayhem, Chrissy Teign, model-actress and wife of American musical artist John Legend, took to her social media handle to share an emotional update regarding her family’s evacuation.

She posted a selfie in which she can be seen visibly shaken, as she stood in her closet with a suitcase in hand. She covered her face with one hand, offering a glimpse into the uncertainty and distress people are facing as the fires continue to unleash havoc.

In one of her stories shared on Wednesday, she gave an update on packing things up as she geared to evacuate amid the wildfire. Expressing her fear, she shared, “I’m very scared now.”

However, later, she tried to lighten the mood by posting a picture of a Lego project in progress, joking that she had told her husband, John Legend, “not to start” it. Thereafter, she reassured her followers that she and her family, which includes four children, Luna, 8, Miles, 6, Esti, 1, and Wren, also 1 were doing fine. “I haven’t had the words, it is a hellscape. … Thank you for reaching out. Looking for any and all ways to help our community right now,” said the actress.

She further updated that the family’s furry pals are safe too. Sharing a video she wrote, “4 kids 4 dogs, and a bearded dragon walk into a hotel.”

Meanwhile, according to ABC News report on early Thursday, at least 100,000 people have been displaced as six massive wildfires continue to rage across Los Angeles.
