Nick Cannon says he has still not overcome the heartbreaking split with singer
Mariah Carey. The 35-year-old comedian revealed that he is not ready for any relationship right now and his rapport with Carey, who is now engaged to Australian billionaire James Packer, is friendly, reported Entertainment Tonight.
"I'm not ready to be in a relationship. I'm broken," Cannon said when host
Amber Rose asked him to discuss his breakup story. "I speak to her every single day. Matter of fact, I gotta leave here and go pick up the kids (5-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe)."
Cannon praised Rose and the 46-year-old singer for being wonderful mothers. "Amber is an amazing mother, so is Mariah, and when you see these women who have their own industries, their own empire, but they're the best mothers ever.
"They put everything off to the side, so even if a breakup occurs, that doesn't mean a child should suffer. If anything, the child should be lifted up during that time," he added.
