“I couldn’t be prouder of this show,” Liam Payne’s sister reviewed, watching the trailer for her brother’s final TV project
Former One Direction member Liam Payne’s unexpected passing made everyone dumbfounded, including his family, friends, and global fanbase. Following his death, many were left wondering whether his final appearance on the reality singing competition ‘Building the Band’ would ever see the light of day. Earlier this month, the producers released the first look of the show on one of the biggest OTT platforms following its debut at the ‘Tudum’ event.
Fans can stream the first four episodes of ‘Building the Band’ on Netflix on Wednesday, July 9. The makers will then drop the next four episodes, 5-7, on July 16 and episodes 8-10 on July 23.

After watching the trailer for her brother’s final TV project, Liam’s sister, Nicola Payne, used her social media handle to share a heartfelt message. In her social media stories, she expressed deep pride in her late brother’s work and the legacy he left behind to follow.What did Liam write?
Giving a major recognition to Liam’s last project, she said, “Over the years, I have shared many achievements and momentous occasions as a proud sister, and I couldn’t be prouder of this show, and I know you are so proud too." She further added, “Watching this over the past few months has given me/us a way to still feel close to you and see you at your best, and I’m so glad the world gets to see it all now, too. You truly are a shining star. I miss you more than words can say. I love you more than that. I’m so sad you’re not here; it’s not fair."“I didn’t know whether to share this.”
Payne’s elder sister, Ruth Gibbins, also took to social media to express her feelings about seeing her brother in ‘Building the Band.’ Sharing the trailer video, she wrote, “I didn’t know whether to share this, but it felt weird when I’ve raved about Liam’s work and achievements for the last 15 years. I’m heartbroken he never got to see how great he is in this show. He knew he had done a good job; we all told him this when we were filming, but watching it back, wow!" She concluded with, “You’re a star, Liam; you always were and always will be. There are a range of emotions I felt watching this, but one of the main ones is immeasurable pride, always. The upcoming reality singing show features Liam Payne as one of the judges, along with Kelly Rowland and Nicole Scherzinger. The 10-episode competition brings together 50 new talents who get the opportunity to form their bands in individual booths.
