Ed Sheeran announces birth of second daughter with wife Cherry Seaborn; says they are 'over the moon'

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has announced the birth of his second daughter, saying he and his wife, Cherry Seaborn were "over the moon'' at the arrival.

The Grammy award winner made the happy announcement on his Instagram handle. "We are both so in love with her," Sheeran, 31, said in the post, without giving the child's name.

His note read, "Want to let you all know we’ve had another beautiful baby girl. We are both so in love with her, and over the moon to be a family of 4 x"


Much like how he shared the news of the birth of his first child, Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran, in August 2020, the singer posted a picture of the baby's socks laid on a knitted blanket.



Despite being in the spotlight for his music, Sheeran has remained private about his relationship with Seaborn and has chosen to keep his kids away from the spotlight. He has also refrained from sharing photos of the babies on his social media handles.

The singer most recently made headlines when he won a copyright case that alleged that the singer plagiarised the hook of a 2015 song by Sami Chokri for his chartbuster 'Shape Of You'.
