Drake is back to the music scene with not 1, not 2, but 3 albums altogether! The famed rapper was all set to drop his album ‘Iceman’ today; however, fans were not expecting the triple release on streaming platforms until the musician confirmed the news himself.
Drake drops three new albums in one go
While there had earlier been reports that the rapper would drop ‘Iceman’ today and later release ‘Maid of Honour’, he squashed all rumors and confirmed in a recent livestream that the albums would drop simultaneously on various music streaming platforms. He stated in the livestream, “All 3 albums dropping at midnight from the biggest sound.”
Along with that, he also posted the cover art and other teasers on his social media account. He has released ‘Iceman’, ‘Maid of Honour’, and ‘Habibti.’ These albums contain 43 songs in total and feature many artists from the rap scene.
Many of the songs feature collaborations with Future, 21 Savage, Sexyy Red, Qendresa, Molly Santana, Central Cee, Popcaan, PartyNextDoor, Loe Shimmy, Iconic Savvy, and Stunna Sandy. The name of the first album, ‘Iceman’, references Val Kilmer’s famed role from ‘Top Gun’, who is nicknamed ‘Iceman.’ Drake had been talking about the album since 2024 and had teased the brand new project on multiple occasions.
