As per a recent report shared by TMZ, the famous singer has officially checked herself into a rehab facility. As per the report, she voluntarily checked herself into the facility in order to get better. She will be undergoing treatment and therapy for her substance abuse issues. The news comes a month after Spears was arrested by the authorities for driving under the influence of alcohol. A statement read, “She knows strategically this will look good in front of the judge that she's taking it seriously.”

A month ago, the 44 year old famed singer was stopped by the authorities and taken into custody after she was found driving rashly under the influence in Ventura, California. She was also taken to the hospital for a wellness test, and released on bail the very next day.
Her legal representatives had issued a long statement about how sorry Spears is over everything that has happened, and that she takes full responsibility for all of her actions. Furthermore, the statement read, “Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life. Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.The statement further read. “Her boys are going to be spending time with her. Her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue plan to set her up for success for well being,” emphasizing that they will be staying by her side through everything. Spears shares two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden Preston, with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.A few days ago, the singer was spotted having a good time on a yacht with her sons. Not only that but she had also shared photos online posing alongside them with a big smile on her face.
