Demi Lovato, Wilmer Valderrama split

Singer Demi Lovato and her longtime boyfriend, actor Wilmer Valderrama, have decided to split after six years of dating.
The abruptly announced in a joint statement that they'd decided to break up "after almost 6 loving and wonderful years together", reported Ace Showbiz.

In the statement posted on Instagram, Demi, 23, and 36-year-old Wilmer said that it's a 'difficult decision' for both of them, but they realized that they're "better as best friends."
They added, "We will always be supportive of one another.Thank you to everyone who has offered us kindness and support over the years."
No other details regarding their split have emerged. The two, who celebrated their six-year anniversary back in January, were last seen together at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on May 22.
This has been a difficult week for not only Demi and Wilmer, but also for Taylor Swift & Calvin Harris and Gigi Hadid & Zayn Malik.
Earlier this week, it's revealed that Taylor and Calvin had called it quits after 15 months of dating.
Gigi and Zayn, meanwhile, split after dating for 7 months.
