Demi Lovato chooses Jonas over Lambert for World Tour

Singer Demi Lovato has reportedly ditched Adam Lambert at the last moment and picked longtime friend Nick Jonas over him for her upcoming world tour.

The 23-year-old songstress has been preparing for a tour in support of her just-released album Confident and her team initially booked the former "American Idol" contestant to perform the opening act. But her manager, who also represents Jonas, convinced her to drop Lambert, 33, reported TMZ.

The Cool for the Summer hitmaker and Lambert had agreed on the essential terms, including money. They were already working on things like stage designs.
