Sony Music Entertainment India announced a strategic licence deal to represent the legendary recording from Warner, Electra, Atlantic and Parlophone in India, Sri Lanka and the other SAARC countries. With this, SME will now become the largest player in international music — with over 50% market share in this category.

The catalogue includes some of the music world’s legends and contemporary greats like Eric Clapton, The Eagles, Green Day, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Madonna, Coldplay, Led Zeppelin, Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nickelback, Kylie Minogue, Michael Bublé and Bruno Mars to name a few and a stable of labels including Asylum, Atlantic, Big Beat, Elektra, Erato, Fueled By Ramen, Nonesuch, Parlophone, Reprise, Rhino, Roadrunner, Rykodisc and Sire amongst others.
