Christina: Boyfriend Lil Wayne is so sweet with my daughter

Singer Christina Milian says seeing her little girl bond with boyfriend Lil Wayne is pretty special.

"They know and recognise each other -- he's very much a part of my life and Violet is very much a part of my relationship," Milian, 33, said at the 16th Annual NALIP Latino Media Awards.

One year into their relationship, Milian - who sparked dating rumours when performing with Wayne, 32, at the 2014 American Music Awards - says she's taking it slow when it comes to Violet bonding with him.

"She is very close to her dad, so Violet has her dad in her life, she has us in her life, so in time (they'll develop a closer bond). It'll take some time," she said.
The Christina Milian Turned Up reality star said Milian split from Violet's father, rapper The-Dream, three months after their wedding in December 2009.
